RBI Cancels License of Vasantdada Nagari Sahakari Bank

Vasantdada Nagari Sahakari Bank in Osmanabad, Maharashtra is denied license by the central bank upon failure to meet regulatory requirements. The central bank barred the urban co-operative bank from undertaking banking business. In the liquidation proceedings, the bank is entitled to pay its every depositor within its current financial position.

RBI Imposes Penalty on Deutsche Bank AG

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has penalized Deutsche Bank AG (AG: German for public limited company) with a fine of ₹2 crore for non-compliance with some provisions relating to ‘Reserve Bank of India (Interest Rate on Deposits) Directions, 2016’. In exercise of powers vested in the RBI, the penalty has been imposed under the provisions of Section 47 A (1) (c), read with Section 46 (4) (i) of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949.

Tejas Aircraft Deal Worth Rs 48000 Crore Approved by India Government

YouTube Suspends Trump’s Channel for at Least a Week

Amid concerns over “ongoing potential for violence,” YouTube has suspended Donald Trump’s channel for at least a week. After suspending the channel, YouTube becomes the latest platform to limit the president’s online activities. YouTube said in a tweet that Trump’s channel uploaded a content that violated the channel’s policies. So, it suspended Trump’s channel and did not specify which videos were in question.
