This account will support under medical emergencies and offer health insurance of 25 lakhs. It will also provide annual healthcare package and on-call emergency ambulance medical care services. Consequently, free ambulance service will also be available for up to a distance of 20 Kms at 102 locations across the country till March-end 2022.”

On Wednesday, Kerala Government has announced relaxations in COVID-19 curbs. As Independence Day and Onam festival is on the way, so the state government asks people to maintain precautionary measures. In relaxation measures, shops will be allowed to operate six days a week. However, the state minister cautioned people about triple lockdown for shops located in an area if cases over 10 of the 1000 people of the population will get infected in a week.

Boeing’s Starliner Orbital Flight and NASA’s Commercial Crew Programme Postponed

The Boeing’s uncrewed Starliner Orbital Flight Test-2 (OFT-2) is supposed to lift off from the Space Launch Complex-41 that is situated at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida on Tuesday. But its launch has been postponed once again. The Starliner is supposed to carry more than 400 pounds of NASA cargo and it roughly take 24 hours to reach the ISS. This spacecraft is designed to accommodate seven passengers or a mix of cargo for missions to low-Earth orbit.

Union Sports Minister Launches “Kar De Kamaal Tu” as the Theme Song for Tokyo Paralympics

Anurag Thakur, Union Sports Minister of India has launched the theme song for Tokyo Paralympics in New Delhi. The theme song “Kar De Kamaal Tu” is composed and sung by a Divyang cricket player named Sanjeev Singh. Moreover, the 54 para-athletes will participate in the Tokyo Paralympics in nine disciplines. Mr Thakur said Indian para-athletes have performed consistently in the International para-sports competitions and to motive them he has launched the theme song.

Gunmen Attack Afghan Defence Minister in Kabul

An audacious attack was being witnessed at the Afghan defence minister’s house in Kabul. The attack has left at least eight dead in the first major bombing by militants. Bismillah Khan Mohammadi, Afghan Defence Minister was not at home on Tuesday’s night as gunmen detonated a car bomb and shoot the heavily fortified Green Zone. As per the officials his family was evacuated and four of the gunmen were killed during the firing.
