Boeing Received Licence from the US to Offer its F-15EX Fighter Jet to IAF

The US government granted license to Boeing to supply its F-15EX multi-role combat jet to the Indian Air Force. The F-15EX is the latest and most advanced version of the multi-role combat aircraft of the F-15 aircraft models. Strong defence ties are existent between the two nations with India having bought over $20 billion worth of weapons in the last 15 years from the US.

Corruption Perception Index 2020: India Ranked 86 Among 180 Countries

 

Boeing Received Licence from the US to Offer its F-15EX Fighter Jet to IAF

India drops by 6 ranks to 86th position among 180 nations in Corruption Perception Index 2020. The index ranks the countries and territories by their perceived levels of corruption in public sector using a scale of 0 to 100. Scoring 0 refers to highly corrupt while 100 refers to very clean. India jumped by only one point to score 40 since 2019. This is also below the average score of Asia-Pacific region (31 nations).

Moreover, China stands at 78th position with a score of 42. Pakistan stands at 144th. Denmark and New Zealand topped with equal scores of 88, followed by Switzerland, Finland, Sweden and Singapore scoring 85 each. Somalia and South Sudan are at the bottom (12 each).
