The plot starts from where the previous installment left off. After knowing about the true evil Shiva declares a holy war. He mainly challenges the Emperors Daksha and Dilipa, who were in the control of the sage Bhrigu. India convulses under the onslaught of a series of brutal battles. As the battle rages, to consult with Vayuputras (a legendary tribe) Shiva travels to the land of Pariha. When he returns he finds out that his wife Sati is dead. Then angry Shiva destroys the capital of Meluha and Samaras is wiped out of history. The book tells about the desperation of Shiva and the consequences he faced.
