The Summary of the book ‘The Immortals of Meluha’:

The story starts with the arrival of rough-hewn Tibetan immigrant Shiva. The once-proud Suryavanshi rulers face severe problems. One of the problems is that the primary river Saraswati is slowly drying to extinct. Their rivals from the east the Chandravanshis also attacked them.  Chandravanshis had joined forces with a cursed Nagas. The Suryavanshis believe in an ancient legend that ‘when evil reaches on its high when all seems lost when it appears that your enemies have succeeded, then a hero will emerge’. So, Shiva decides to help meluhans by fighting against the Chandravanshis.

However, in the middle of his journey and the fight, Shiva learns how his choices reflect who he appears to be and who he actually is? This leads to dire consequences. Shiva was a simple man whose karma re-cast him as our Mahadev, the God of Gods.
