‘The Great Indian Novel’ is a satirical work of Shashi Tharoor in which he resets and recasts the story of our epic Mahabharat into the story of Indian Independence. Shashi Tharoor is an Indian politician and writer who is born in London but brought up in India. He also had been a former international diplomat and served as a Member of Parliament. He has authored 19 bestselling fictional and non-fictional books. His books are based on India’s history, culture, politics, society, and much more related themes. He has received the Sahitya Academy Award for his commendable work in ‘An Era of Darkness’.
