During one night, six friends Shyam, Priyanka, Esha, Vroom, Radhika, and Military Uncle are working as usual in a call center in Gurgaon. Shyam has lost his self-confidence when he was being dumped by the girl who is just sitting next to him. Priyanka’s dominating mother has arranged marriage to a highly profiled Indian man. Radhika is a traditional woman who has just found out that her husband is sleeping with his secretary. Esha wants to be a model but knows the rough and harsh reality of modeling life. Vroom has high ideals but he has to compromise them by talking on the phone each night. And Military Uncle (nobody knows his real name) sits alone working the online chat.

Chetan Bhagat is an Indian author, columnist, and screenwriter, who is popularly known for his English-language novels. He is an IITian and later he completed his MBA from IIM Ahmedabad. Some filmmakers adopted his novels like One Night @ the Call Center movies, Five Point Someone, The 3 Mistakes of My Life, 2 States, and Half Girlfriend for making movies. Bhagat has also written the scripts for Bollywood films like Kick in 2014. Apart from writing, the author has a keen interest in yoga.
