About the Author

Dale Carnegie was an American writer and lecturer who was born in Missouri in 1888. He was the developer of famous courses in corporate training, salesmanship, public speaking, self-improvement and interpersonal skills. The first collection of Carnegie’s writing was Public Speaking: a Practical Course for Business Men which was published in 1926. He also served in the U.S. Army during the First World War. Dale Carnegie died in 1955 at the age of 66 at his home in Forest Hills in New York.
