Film producers also adopted this novel for producing a film based on the same name.
The summary of the book:
The story is about Krish and Ananya, they are from two different states of India (Punjab and Tamil Nadu). They both fall in love with each other during their college days and want to get married. But their parents don’t agree. So, to convert their love story into a love marriage they are ready to fight a tough battle. They embark on a journey of convincing their parents for the marriage. This journey is full of twists and turns and persuasion takes a lot more than just a few words. Will they able to convince their parents? Will, they can get married? The answers to these questions are in the presented novel.

Chetan Bhagat is an Indian author, columnist, and screenwriter, who is popularly known for his English-language novels. He went to IIT Delhi for pursuing engineering and later he completed his MBA from IIM Ahmedabad. The New York Times has called him ‘the biggest selling author in India’s history’. Some of his books have also been adapted by filmmakers like One Night @ the Call Center movies, Five Point Someone, The 3 Mistakes of My Life, and Half Girlfriend. Bhagat has also written the scripts for Bollywood films like Kick in 2014. Apart from writing, the author has a keen interest in yoga.
