Ahead of its infamous smog season, the National Capital Territory got a ‘smog tower’. This tower will aid the city in combating air pollution. The structure of the smog tower is 24 m high, and have an 8-storey building on top the building has an 18-metre concrete tower that is topped by a 6-metre-high canopy. The base has 40 fans, ten on each side and each fan can discharge 25 cubic metres per second of purifying air. 5,000 filters are established inside the tower in layers that have been imported from the US.

So, researchers in the country have developed a machine that will increase the production of Covid-19 vaccine doses more by producing more vaccine doses. Using a robotic arm, the “AutoVacc” system can produce 12 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine in 4 minutes. This machine works only on AstraZeneca multi-dose vials.

An attack took place at Shirokane Takanawa station which is an upscale part of Tokyo. Two people have severely got injured during the attack. One of the victims, who is a 22-year-old businessman, has suffered burns to his face after the suspect sprayed liquid at him on an escalator.
