India Successfully Tested Anti-Tank Missiles Helina and Dhruvastra

DRDO successfully test fired Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGM) Helina and Dhruvastra. These missiles are indigenously developed. Helina is the Indian Army variant and Dhruvastra is the Indian Air Force variant of the Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH). DRDO also carried out five missions in the desert to evaluate the missile capabilities in minimum and maximum range.

He defeated Daniil Medvedev in the straight sets of 7-5, 6-2, 6-2 in the final. On the other hand, Japan’s Naomi Osaka won the women’s title of the first Grand Slam of the year. It was her second triumph in the tournament after winning in 2019 and overall 4th Grand Slam.

Thousands Evacuated Amid Floods in Indonesia's West Java

Rescue teams evacuated thousands of residents on the outskirts of Indonesia’s capital amid flooding. The Citarum River embankment broke and caused flooding in the nearby areas, officials said on Monday. Bekasi district in Indonesia’s West Java province has experienced flooding since Saturday because of heavy rain. However, the National Search and Rescue Agency have sent their rescuers immediately to start the rescue operation.

On Monday, China expressed its support for India in hosting this year’s BRICS summit. The Dragon country also said that they will work with New Delhi to strengthen the cooperation among the five-member grouping of emerging economies. Moreover, India has assumed the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) Chairmanship for 2021 and is set to hold this year’s summit.
