Bangladesh Received $200 Million Dollars from World Bank

The World Bank has extended 200 Million Dollars to Bangladesh for the ‘WASH’ project—Water Sanitation, Hygiene for rural areas. The project is also going to help over 3.6 million people in gaining access to hygienic sanitation facilities and to resource clean water to about 6 lakh people in rural areas.

More than 3 lakh poorest households will be provided with fully subsidised toilets and at public places such as markets etc., about 3000 community piped water schemes with installations of 312 public toilets and 2,514 hand-washing stations will be made available.

The flag will add to the glory of Gulmarg which is already a major tourist destination. The installation will be completed with the collaboration of Solar Industry India.

Uttarakhand Glacier Disaster: Rescue Team Begins Drilling Operations Inside Tapovan Tunnel

Rescue team has started drilling operations inside Tapovan tunnel as per ITBP statement. Around 30 people are feared trapped inside the tunnel. Rescue teams have already found 34 bodies during the relief operations at the Uttarakhand Glacier Disaster till 10th February. About 170 people are still missing.

China’s space probe Tianwen-1 entered the Mars orbit on 10th February 2021. Tianwen-1 was launched in July 2020 and is expected to land on the red planet in May 2021. If its landing is successful, then China will become the first country to orbit, land and deploy a rover to Mars on its first attempt.

His tenure as the vice president of India was for two consecutive terms from 2007 to 2017. Besides chairing the Rajya Sabha and shedding interesting light on some of its functional aspects, Ansari used the vice presidency as a formidable pulpit. He also used this to express himself frankly on a range of issues at different times in India’s changing political landscape.

A 7.7 magnitude earthquake caused a tsunami in the South Pacific on Thursday. Moreover, this small tsunami caused no damage to island nations in the region. On Thursday, the quake struck at just after midnight local time about 415 kilometers east of Vao in New Caledonia.

On Wednesday, Yemen’s Houthi rebels targeted Abha International Airport in southwestern Saudi Arabia. As a result of this rebel, a civilian plane on the tarmac caught fire. Firefighters have brought the blaze under control, the state-owned Al-Ekhbariya TV said. Initially, there were no reports on any possible casualties from the attack. However, the initial reports offered no word on it. Saudi officials did not immediately respond to requests for comment Wednesday. Moreover, the officials condemned the assault as a systematic and deliberate attempt to target civilians in the southern region of Saudi Arabia.

The insurgents were targeting Pence because he refused to help his boss, former President Donald Trump.
